"The great thing about being early to catch a train in Paris is that you have time to taste some truly amazing treats. That's the case with Yann Couvreur, who has a coffee corner/bakery inside Montparnasse station. The pastries and baked goods are treats you would want to eat in your wildest dreams. It has flavors, textures, and everything in between. The staff is friendly and will be happy to recommend you food and beverages - it all truth, everything is delicious so it can't go wrong ;-) The overall experience is very positive, though I removed one star for the atmosphere. It is noisy, busy (expected in a train station) with either tables used by travelers who are not customers, or filled with trash that previous customers left behind. For the perfect experience, take your delicious treats and bevs to go and - if you are patient enough - enjoy them in your train, while watching French landscapes passing by."
"The Roulé pistachio was incredible. One of the best pastries I’ve had in Paris. It’s so rich, dense and sticky and tasty. Must try for anybody coming here! Shops was slightly hard to find but just go towards the platforms and you’ll see it towards the middle of the station!"
"For a pastry coffee shop in a train station it was a nice experience tasting a cake and a noisette. So you can take 20 min for a break. Dont forget: @safiticuminti on instagram"
"I cannot recommend this place. The coffee was the worst I've had in Paris, coming out of a cheap machine. Honestly was worst than instant coffee. The sweets were unbelievably dry and not worth a penny."
"Nice"
